On August 25, King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Samarkand for a state visit. They also visited the historical and ethnographic complex "Baqiy Shahar". This visit contributes to strengthening diplomatic relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries.

As a result of negotiations with the King of Jordan, 15 bilateral documents were signed, demonstrating further development of strategic cooperation between the countries.
