The President signed a decree "On measures for further improvement of forensic activities and widespread introduction of modern technologies in the field." Through this document, a number of innovations will be implemented in the forensic system.
In accordance with the resolution, the Chamber of Forensic Experts of Uzbekistan will be created on the basis of voluntary membership of non-governmental forensic organizations. This structure is aimed at uniting representatives of the sphere and increasing their professional prestige.
Also, in order to assess the level of knowledge and practical training of non-state forensic experts, and to fairly consider cases related to their illegal actions, the activities of the Expert Qualification Commission under the Ministry of Justice will be established.
According to the new procedure, starting from November 1, 2025, a system of conducting expert examinations in cases of administrative offenses in forensic organizations on a contractual basis at the request of a lawyer will be established.
Also, from December 1, 2025, non-state forensic experts will be granted the right to create individual forensic expert bureaus.
Starting December 15, 2025, citizens will be able to apply online to the Republican Center for Forensic Expertise named after Kh. Suleymanova through the "Forensic Expert" portal and conduct expert research.
One of the main innovations is the introduction of a mandatory procedure for the use of body cameras (mobile video cameras) by experts of the Republican Center for Forensic Expertise during the inspection of objects from January 1, 2026.
These reforms are expected to ensure transparency in the sphere, strengthen the protection of citizens' rights, and raise the quality of forensic services to a new level.
