President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the possibilities of a new tourist complex being built in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region - the all-season international resort "Chimgan." In recent years, infrastructure has been consistently developed in the region, and favorable conditions have been created for interesting trips in all four seasons of the year.
Large tourist complexes such as Amirsoy, Chinorkent, and Charvak Gate have been commissioned, and modern hotels, resorts, and restaurants have begun operating. Now the "Chimgan" resort, being built in cooperation with the French company "MND," is joining this list. An area of 1,278 hectares has been allocated for the project.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to build hotels and a cable car to an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level. This creates the opportunity to develop tourism in every season of the year. In winter, skiing and snowboarding are offered, while in other months, mountain tourism and entertainment opportunities are offered.
The head of state inspected hotels, restaurants, and shopping facilities in the area. In particular, the modern 6-story hotel is expected to accommodate 320 tourists and serve an average of 45 thousand tourists during the year. The establishment of management here in cooperation with the Wyndham brand will serve to improve the quality of service and increase the international prestige of the country's tourism. The hotel is scheduled to open in November.
Seven and five-story apartments, a seven-story hotel, and a two-story restaurant have also been built on the territory. These complexes will provide services in accordance with international standards and are designed to accommodate more than 54 thousand tourists annually. These projects will create at least 100 new jobs. Currently, the construction of 6 shales is underway.
A parking lot for 300 cars has also been built. The opening of a restaurant, a children's playground, and a shopping complex on its first floor will create even more opportunities for tourists.
In general, the opening of the Chimgan resort will create thousands of new jobs and a stable source of income for the local population. As the most modern services are offered to tourists, the number of guests visiting the country will also increase dramatically.
At the same time, the tourism sector is developing in harmony with other sectors. The increase in trade, services, and transport movement is transforming the economic landscape of the entire region. For this purpose, a tunnel with a length of 1,450 meters, two bridges, and pedestrian walkways were built along the highway. This road reduces the distance to mountain resorts, increases safety, and allows for the convenient movement of more than 500 vehicles per hour.
The President noted that such infrastructure projects not only increase tourism potential, but also play an important role in preserving the purity of nature and raising the ecological culture of tourists.
Thus, the Bostanlyk district, with its natural beauty, modern complexes, and high service culture, is becoming a leading center on the country's tourism map.
