In the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, the tourism sector is reaching a new stage. On September 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with major infrastructure and tourism projects being implemented in the region, the Presidential press service reported.
In recent years, significant work has been carried out in Bostanlyk to expand tourism opportunities. Large complexes such as Amirsay, Chinorkent, and Charvak Gate, as well as modern hotels and recreation centers, have been launched, creating favorable conditions for travel in all four seasons. Now the international all-season resort “Chimyon” will also be added to this list.
For this project, implemented jointly with the French company MND, 1278 hectares of land have been allocated. As part of the project, modern hotels, restaurants, and a cable car reaching up to 3300 meters above sea level will be built. This facility will provide opportunities not only for skiing and snowboarding in winter, but also for mountain tourism and various types of recreation during other months.
The President also inspected the construction of a 6-story hotel. This facility will be able to accommodate 320 tourists and is planned to serve an average of 45,000 visitors annually. In addition, 7- and 5-story apart-hotels, a 7-story hotel, and a 2-story restaurant are being built. The aim is to bring the quality of service to international standards. These facilities are expected to host more than 54,000 guests annually. More than 100 new jobs will be created in the complex.
Currently, the construction of 6 chalets is ongoing. The head of state emphasized the importance of introducing advanced practices, improving staff qualifications, and organizing modern services. Instructions were also given to actively promote the region’s opportunities on tourism platforms and to attract local and foreign tourists.
For the convenience of tourists, a parking lot for 300 cars is being constructed. On its first floor, a restaurant, children’s playground, and shopping points are located, providing the possibility of offering services in a single complex.
According to the Presidential press service, a tunnel on the highway is also included in the resort’s structure. The length of this section is 1450 meters, including two bridges and pedestrian walkways. This will shorten the route to the region’s mountain resorts, improve safety, and ease traffic. More than 500 cars per hour will be able to move safely and conveniently through the tunnel.
Experts emphasized that the construction of modern roads is an important factor in fully utilizing the tourism potential of the region and ensuring economic growth. At the same time, the importance of preserving natural purity and raising the ecological culture of vacationers and the local population was noted.
Thanks to the new resort and infrastructure, thousands of new jobs will be created in Bostanlyk, providing a stable source of income for the population. Tourists will be offered the most modern services, and the number of visitors to the country is expected to increase significantly.
