The traffic police are cracking down on scooter drivers without a license.

In the capital’s streets, in order to ensure road traffic safety, the next strict measures are being implemented. Traffic police officers are stopping scooter drivers without a driver’s license and state number plates and are applying administrative fines to them. This was reported by local sources.

According to the information, under the new regulation introduced last month, starting from October 1, to operate mopeds and scooters it is mandatory to have a category “A” driver’s license and to install a state license plate on the vehicle. It was reported that the vehicles of drivers who ignored these requirements are being placed in an impound lot.

Traffic police officials emphasize that the introduction of the new rules is aimed at ensuring safety on the roads and preventing illegal actions. Statistical data note that scooter and moped drivers often show negligence towards traffic rules and cause numerous road traffic accidents. Therefore, control has been strengthened and strict measures are being taken against violators.

It is noted that in many cases drivers are operating without “licenses”, and some are not installing state license plates. This may endanger both their own lives and the lives of other road users.

Law enforcement agencies are calling on the population to take the new requirements seriously. During special raids, administrative cases will be opened against drivers who violated the rules, and their vehicles will temporarily be taken to the impound lot.

According to responsible officials, these measures are aimed at ensuring people’s safety and reducing road traffic accidents. At the same time, if citizens comply with the requirements of the law, their vehicles and personal safety will be protected.
