A new employment opportunity has emerged for Uzbek drivers. Bilateral negotiations were held between the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and the management of “Dubai Taxi Company PJSC” in the United Arab Emirates, sources reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the legal employment of qualified drivers from Uzbekistan in the UAE, protection of their rights, and ensuring transparent working conditions.
The company’s head, Said Amin Abdulrahman, highly praised the responsibility and experience of Uzbek drivers, expressing readiness to employ them in Dubai’s taxi service.
According to him, at the initial stage, about 200 drivers may be hired. If their performance proves effective, an additional 500 Uzbek citizens may also be employed.
Following the negotiations, the Uzbekistan Labor Agency and “Dubai Taxi Company PJSC” reached an agreement to bring their cooperation to a practical level.
Local experts believe that this initiative is not only an important step in employment development but also helps strengthen the reputation of Uzbek drivers in the international labor market.
