On December 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a presentation on the ongoing work on the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of healthcare, education, transport, and space. The head of state emphasized the importance of implementing these technologies and noted that this will be an important factor in the country's development.
In order to expand the possibilities of diagnostics using artificial intelligence in the field of medicine, it is planned to introduce new diagnostic systems in republican specialized medical centers. These systems involve the use of medical imaging to detect liver, lung, and prostate cancer, heart attacks, and complex bone fractures. Expressing this information, the President emphasized the need to cover the effectiveness of artificial intelligence systems used in global practice to receive assistance in the future.

New approaches are also being developed in the field of education. Starting in 2024, pupils and students in schools, technical schools, and universities will be able to study artificial intelligence. Special informatics teachers are being trained for this purpose. Issues of training all school communities in the effective use of artificial intelligence and reducing the workload of teachers were also considered. As a result, teachers will pay more attention to their specialties.
It is proposed to introduce a platform based on artificial intelligence for education. Through the integration of this platform, virtual assistant functions will be developed that will help teachers develop lecture texts, presentations, tests, and lesson plans. This allows teachers to control the examination process in an auxiliary and automatic manner.

It was noted that special attention is being paid to the implementation of artificial intelligence projects in the transport sector. Proposals were presented to reduce the risk of accidents on the railway by automatically detecting violations on the tracks and monitoring the technical condition of wagons.
New initiatives have been developed in the field of space technologies. The President reviewed the development of the "Samarkand-2028" satellite. This satellite is designed for remote sensing of the Earth, on which the development of artificial intelligence modules is planned. With the help of this satellite, it will be possible to assess air quality, monitor agriculture and forests.
In the final part of the presentation, the President gave specific instructions to bring the implementation of ongoing projects to a new level, expand the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and accelerate work in this area.
