During his visit to the Syrdarya region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the construction work carried out in the Buston mahalla of the city of Gulistan.
This year, the "Buston" mahalla has become a prosperous one. All apartment buildings in the area have been renovated, and the area has been landscaped. The new building of the mahalla center has been commissioned.
The President held a sincere conversation with mahalla activists, representatives of the older generation, and youth. At the meeting, it was noted that the results of reforms aimed at solving problems at the grassroots level, improving mahallas, and improving the living conditions of the population in all regions of the country are also reflected in Syrdarya.
- The mahalla is the face of society. All changes in the country are reflected, first of all, here. We have created such a system that we find solutions to many issues that we previously considered serious in the mahalla itself. We will continue to strengthen attention to this institution, - said the President of our country.
Current repairs were carried out on 48 multi-story buildings, the exterior of which was covered with basalt. To improve heat supply, a modern boiler house and 3.3 kilometers of heating networks were built at the expense of 18 billion soums.
23 individual heating points have been installed in multi-story buildings, and a closed system has been created. At the expense of the local budget, the internal heating systems of 20 multi-story buildings with 800 apartments were restored. One kindergarten is provided with centralized thermal energy and hot water.
As a result of the construction of a new boiler house, 144,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity and 627,000 cubic meters of natural gas will be saved.
The President gave the necessary instructions on continuing this work, aimed at creating comfortable conditions for residents of apartment buildings, using modern technologies in the construction and operation of boiler houses, and attracting qualified specialists.
Here, a conversation took place with representatives of the "seven" and representatives of the older generation about the changes taking place in the life of the mahalla and the region.
Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of infrastructure in the Syrdarya region, a special address list has been formed, covering 215 apartment buildings in the region. Within the framework of this program, work is planned to repair the roof and facade parts of houses, improve heat supply, improve engineering and communication networks, and improve the environment.
