Next year, a new car manufacturing plant will be launched in the Syrdarya district of the Syrdarya region in cooperation with Chinese partners. This was announced at an extraordinary session of the Syrdarya Regional Council of People's Deputies held in the Syrdarya region on December 4 with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The total cost of this car production project is 122 million dollars. In addition, this year the Central Asian International Industrial Cooperation Center was launched in the Syrdarya district, where 14 industrial enterprises worth $300 million will start operating at the end of the 1st quarter of next year. By 2026, another 40 new projects worth 720 million dollars are expected to be launched.
Last year, a new work system was launched in the Saykhunabad district. Thanks to this system, it was possible to increase the income of the population through small industries and the service sector. As a result of the effective use of household plots in 13 thousand households in the Saykhunabad district, people's monthly income increased several times. In the district, greenhouses with an area of 5-6 sotkas were built in 1.8 thousand households, and another 622 households have greenhouses with an area of 2-3 sotkas.
700 new entrepreneurs started working in new business areas, and 15,000 people received permanent income. 1.5 thousand families managed to get out of poverty and improve their lives.
At the session, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, noting the high effectiveness of work in Saykhunabad district, said: "You are witnessing how life and people's mood have changed in Saykhunabad, which is one of the most difficult districts."
It should be recalled that this year it was reported that 52 buses were brought to Gulistan city for the purpose of carrying out bus services on internal roads. They operate on compressed natural gas and fully comply with the Euro-5 environmental standard.
