According to the urgent warning of Uzhydromet, from December 8 to 10, a moist and cold air mass will enter the territory of the country. During this period, rain may fall in some regions, and in foothill and mountainous areas, heavy mixed precipitation (rain and snow) is possible.
On December 9–10, in the northern and desert regions, wind speed may increase to 15–18 m/s, and in some places — up to 20–22 m/s.
A significant drop in temperature is also expected: starting from December 10, in the central regions nighttime temperatures will be 2–5 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures will be 3–6 degrees above zero. In the northern regions, nighttime temperatures may reach 7–10 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures — 0–3 degrees below zero.
Experts urge the population to be prepared for sharp weather changes and to follow safety measures.
