In particular, it plans to systematically provide social, psychological, educational, and legal services to children and their families.
The document outlines the establishment of small-scale, open-format centers based on modern social approaches for working with children. These centers will develop individual plans for each child, focusing on their education, social adaptation, and overall development.
Moreover, special attention is given to protecting children's legal interests. Key directions include guaranteeing children's rights during procedural processes, conducting specialized training for professionals working with children, and strengthening inter-agency cooperation.
The strategy also encompasses measures to expand educational opportunities for children at social risk, improve alternative placement mechanisms, guide them towards vocational training, and integrate them into social life.
In terms of working with families, the tasks include reducing the risk of violence against children, supporting parents, and establishing psychological and social assistance services.
Additionally, it highlights the importance of consolidating all information related to social protection for children into a unified electronic platform and introducing a unified accounting and monitoring system for violence-related cases as one of the critical aspects of the strategy.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has given clear instructions to ensure a systematic and consistent approach to implementing the outlined measures and to keep their execution under constant control. This step is expected to play a crucial role in ensuring the protection and safety of children’s rights in the coming years.
