
On the evening of December 26, an earthquake recorded in the territory of Kyrgyzstan was also felt in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Republican Seismoprognostic Monitoring Center.
According to the information, the earthquake occurred at 21:17. The epicenter of the tremors was located in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, approximately 277 kilometers southeast of Tashkent. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.2, and the depth was 10 kilometers.
Specialists note that the earthquake was felt weakly in the territory of Uzbekistan. In particular, tremors of about 2 points were observed in the Fergana district.
As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake. Specialists emphasize that the situation is under control.
