During the first working week of the new year, predominantly dry and stable weather is expected across Uzbekistan. According to UzHydromet, no precipitation is forecast throughout the country, though fog may occur in some areas.
Nighttime air temperatures will range around 0…–5°C, and in northern regions may drop to –6…–8°C. During the daytime, temperatures on January 5–8 are expected to be +6…+9°C, while on January 9 they may reach +9…+12°C.
Fog may be observed in certain areas, especially during the morning hours. Winds will be mainly easterly, from light to moderate.
In Tashkent city, no precipitation is expected throughout the week either. Fog may occur at night and in the morning. Easterly winds will blow at 3–8 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 0…–2°C, while daytime temperatures will be +7…+9°C on January 5–8 and +10…+12°C on January 9.
Overall, no sharp weather changes are expected during the week, and the days will be relatively warm and comfortable.
