Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviews operations at the Chirchiq Aircraft Repair Plant

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Chirchiq Aircraft Repair Plant and reviewed the results of large-scale modernization and the work of its new high-tech divisions.
A technical maintenance center for Airbus helicopters—the only one of its kind in the CIS and the region—has been launched at the plant. The center has been officially certified by France’s Airbus, confirming a high level of production organization and compliance with international standards and manufacturer requirements. A full cycle of servicing and repair has been established for modern Western aircraft equipment, including H-125, H-215 and H-130 helicopters.

It is noted that the center will make it possible to turn Uzbekistan into an important regional hub for the maintenance and operation of Airbus helicopters.
The President familiarized himself with the center’s capabilities and spoke with specialists. Mirziyoyev was presented with upgraded workshops for overhaul and deep modernization of Su-25 military aircraft. With the introduction of advanced technologies, the enterprise is now equipping aircraft with modern navigation systems, night-vision devices and onboard self-defense suites.
At the end of the visit, the head of state issued instructions to further strengthen the country’s defense industry potential.
