Today, April 20, dust storm conditions may be observed in some regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Uzhydromet.

According to the information, today in some areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Jizzakh, Syrdarya and Surkhandarya regions, wind speeds may increase up to 15–20 m/s. At the same time, in these areas strong winds are expected to be accompanied by dust storms.

It is worth recalling that earlier it was reported that due to the expected precipitation on April 18–23 of the current year, mudflows and flood events may occur in the foothill and mountainous areas of Uzbekistan.
