Rental prices in Tashkent see significant increase

Housing rental prices in Tashkent continued to rise in March, reaching an average of $8.9 per square meter. According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, this represents a 2.7% increase from February and a 10.8% jump compared to the same period last year. While central districts like Mirobod and Shaykhontohur remain the most expensive at $11 per square meter, the Yashnobod district saw the highest annual growth at 18.9%. Significant price hikes were also recorded in the Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaray districts, which grew by 14.3% and 12.5%, respectively.

According to data, the average monthly rental rate in the capital reached approximately $8.9 per square meter. This figure is 2.7% higher compared to February and shows a 10.8% increase compared to the same period last year.

The Center for Economic Research and Reforms reports that the highest rental prices remain concentrated in the city's central districts.

Specifically, in the Mirabad, Shaykhantahur, Yakkasaray, and Mirzo Ulugbek districts, the average rent has reached up to $11 per square meter.

Meanwhile, the Yashnabad district led in terms of annual growth rate, where rental prices surged by 18.9%.

Growth in the Mirzo Ulugbek district stood at 14.3%, while the Yakkasaray district recorded a 12.5% increase.
