Short-term rain expected in some regions today

According to Uzhydromet, no precipitation is expected during the day on May 11 in most regions of Uzbekistan. The weather is forecast to be mostly warm and stable. However, the possibility of short-term rain and thunderstorms remains in some regions.
Specifically, short-term rain is possible in some parts of the Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms in these areas. The wind will blow at 7-12 m/s. Daytime temperatures will be around 23-28 degrees.
The weather in Tashkent may also be changeable. There is a slight chance of short-term rain in the capital. The wind will blow at 3-8 m/s. Temperatures are expected to be 23-25 degrees.
In foothill and mountainous areas, it is recommended to approach the situation with caution. Rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of these regions. Due to precipitation, there is a risk of flash floods.
In mountainous areas, the wind will blow at 7-12 m/s. The air temperature will be around 12-17 degrees. Therefore, citizens planning to relax near mountains and rivers are asked to be careful and monitor weather reports.
Although the overall outlook is warm today, there is a risk of short-term rain and floods in some areas. Simply put, even if the weather looks good outside, those planning trips to the mountains should be prepared for "weather surprises."
