Meat and milk prices are rising sharply in Uzbekistan

Various indicators of perceived inflation are being observed among the population in Uzbekistan. Specifically, citizens with a monthly income between 2 million and 4 million soums perceived inflation at its lowest level — 10.5 percent.
At the same time, the segment of the population with an income above 30 million soums reports that prices have increased by 14.7 percent over the last 12 months. In particular, it is noted that the rise in the prices of meat and dairy products is being felt more strongly by many.
By region, the highest rate of perceived inflation was recorded in the Kashkadarya region, amounting to 12.9 percent. This indicates that the population is feeling the changes in the prices of daily consumer goods more acutely.
