On January 20, Donald Trump officially assumed office as the 47th President of the United States. Alongside him, Vice President J.D. Vance also took the oath of office.
During his inauguration speech, Trump declared the beginning of "America's golden age," criticized the previous administration, promised to tackle inflation, restore "freedom of speech and law," leave a "peaceful and unifying legacy," and reinforce the recognition of only two genders: male and female.
