The US can restrict entry to citizens of these 43 countries
The US government intends to change the entry rules for citizens of 43 countries, including Russians and Belarusians, The New York Times (NYT) reported. The State Department plans to divide these countries into three categories.

According to NYT sources, citizens of 11 countries will be completely banned from entering the United States. These include Afghanistan, Bhutan, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

The second category includes Russia, Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan. Only wealthy businessmen from these countries are allowed to enter the United States, tourists and immigrants are not allowed.

The third group is temporary, and they are required to correct immigration deficiencies. After that, they are assigned to the first or second category. The provisional list includes Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Vanuatu and Zimbabwe.

US President Donald Trump's intention to divide countries into immigration categories became known last week. Now their full list has been published.
