Uzbek Woman Stabs Husband to Death in Istanbul

A 28-year-old woman from Uzbekistan killed her husband in Istanbul, reports Hurriyet.

The incident occurred on April 6 in the Kartal district. The woman, identified as S.T., had an argument with her 42-year-old husband Emre Erim over financial issues. The dispute turned physical.

In a fit of rage, she allegedly took a kitchen knife and stabbed him. She then called a taxi company, saying:
— “My husband is ill, he needs to go to the hospital.”

When the taxi driver arrived, he saw the man covered in blood and immediately called emergency services (112). Police and medics arrived at the scene. The woman was taken into custody.

The body was sent for forensic examination and later handed over to family members for burial.
