A high-ranking general in Russia died in an explosion (video)

A high-ranking military officer, General Yaroslav Moskalik, was killed in a car explosion in the Moscow region of Russia on April 25. This was reported by Mash and other media outlets, citing local residents.

The incident occurred in the city of Balashikha, and Russian law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the causes of the explosion. According to preliminary information, an explosive device was installed in the general's car and placed near the gas cylinders in the vehicle. It was reported that the explosion was carried out remotely when the Moskalik was passing by the car.


According to Russian media reports, the deceased General Yaroslav Moskalik served as Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case into the incident, but it has not yet been announced under which article the investigation is being conducted.
