The U.S. will pay illegal migrants 1000 dollars to voluntarily leave the country
The United States administration has launched a new program aimed at reducing the flow of illegal migrants and establishing legal order within the country. According to this program, illegal migrants who decide to voluntarily return to their homeland will receive a financial incentive of one thousand dollars. This was announced on the official portal of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

It is noted in the statement that this initiative will be implemented through the “CBP Home” mobile application. This program is designed to allow individuals living illegally in the United States to leave the country without detention and financial losses. This process will also ease the burden on law enforcement agencies and significantly reduce taxpayer expenses.

"If you are in our country illegally, voluntary departure is the most convenient, easy, and cost-effective way to avoid the risk of detention. Download the CBP Home mobile application and take advantage of the self-deportation procedure," said Kristi Noem, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security.

According to the announcement, each illegal migrant returning to their homeland under this program will receive financial assistance amounting to 1,000 dollars. These funds are intended to facilitate their re-adaptation in their own countries. It is also emphasized that this procedure could result in savings of up to 70 percent for U.S. taxpayers.

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump had declared during his election campaign that decisive actions against illegal migration would be one of the primary parts of his agenda. According to recent reports, the number of migrants deported from the country since the beginning of this year has reached 117,000 people.

Additionally, in early April, The Washington Post, citing high-ranking sources, reported that the number of illegal migrants deported from the U.S. could reach one million by the end of 2025.

Through this program, the U.S. government aims not only to streamline the country's migration system but also to save financial resources and alleviate the workload on law enforcement agencies. How effective this initiative will prove and how many migrants will take advantage of the offer will become clear in the near future.
