A pregnant Uzbek woman who was abandoned by her husband in Russia was returned to her homeland. This was reported by Dunyo.
It is noted that with the assistance of the employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, compatriots who were in a difficult situation in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg were returned to their permanent place of residence.
According to the information, an Uzbek woman, S.L., who came to Yekaterinburg with her husband to temporarily work, applied for a solution to the problems related to the maternity hospital for her daughter, M.O., who had come to Yekaterinburg with her husband to work.
The Chairman of the Women's Council under the Consulate General studied this application in detail. As it turned out, M.O. lived in Yekaterinburg with her husband, mother and minor child. Her husband left them due to family disagreements.
As a result of consultations with local doctors, it became clear that there were no threats to the future mother's pregnancy and her return to Uzbekistan.
With the help of the Consulate General staff and active compatriots in the Sverdlovsk region, a plane ticket was purchased for them to reach their permanent place of residence on the Yekaterinburg-Tashkent route.
Uzbek diplomats accompanied the family from Kolsovo International Airport in Yekaterinburg to Tashkent on May 3.
