According to recent studies, people born between 1965 and 1980, known as “Generation X,” are recognized as the generation that has experienced the most problems and economic trials in world history.
Generation X has faced major economic and social challenges at various times. First of all, they have experienced the severe economic recession of the 1990s, the global economic crisis of 2008, the economic difficulties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, and record high inflation.
In addition, Generation X has also been tasked with raising and providing for the young and demanding Generation Z (Zuers). This is further exacerbating their already difficult situation.
Experts emphasize that the failure of Generation X is evidenced by the following main reasons:
1. Health-related problems: Generation X is currently experiencing the highest level of problems in terms of health and life concerns. Many health problems, mental stress, and other such illnesses have increased in the lives of this generation.
2. Economic crisis and recession: Generation X has had to deal with economic crises not just once, but several times. This has dramatically reduced their ability to earn a good income and save enough for the future. Many have very limited savings or real estate.
3. Clash with Generation Z: The difficulties that arise in the workplace and in relationships with the younger generation at home - Generation Z (Zuers) - are also making life difficult for Generation X. Zuers often avoid work, and adults have difficulty understanding them.
Thus, experts note that Generation X has overcome the most problems in history. Representatives of this generation are now forced to look for new ways for their own lives and the future of their children.
