Vladimir Putin: "Russia is firm in defending its people"
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in the documentary "Russia. Kremlin. Putin. 25 Years", spoke about the main goals and outcomes of the special military operation. According to him, Russia had to take certain actions to ensure its security and establish long-term peace.

"The real goal is people’s interests and security"

Putin emphasized that military actions are not only geopolitical but also have cultural and national significance. He stated that Russia sees itself as a country protecting the rights of those who live in the affected areas, speak Russian as their mother tongue, and consider Russia their homeland.

"We always talk about territories where our people live, who see Russian as their native language and Russia as their homeland," Putin said.

"Eliminating the causes of crisis — a key direction"

According to Putin, Russia’s actions aim to eliminate the root causes of the current crisis. He added that ensuring civilian security and restoring stable life in those regions are among the Federation’s direct interests.

From Zamin.uz editorial:

Putin’s statement shows that citizen safety, language, and national unity remain top priorities in Russia’s foreign policy. While the international community may interpret this stance differently, Russia is not stepping back from its position.
