
In the documentary film “Russia. Kremlin. Putin. 25 Years”, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow has all the necessary resources to bring the war against Ukraine to a “result Russia needs” in terms of national interest and security. According to him, Russia remains committed to both military and ideological goals.
“The essence of our actions is to eliminate the causes of the crisis, ensure long-term peace and security, and protect the interests of our people in regions where people consider Russian their native language and Russia their homeland,” said Putin.
On nuclear weapons
In the same interview, Putin addressed questions about the use of nuclear weapons, saying that “there is currently no need” and that he hopes “such a need will not arise.”
