On that day, the two countries carried out a major prisoner exchange in the "1000-for-1000" format. However, attacks amid peace negotiations have further complicated the situation between the two countries.

In his statement, Donald Trump harshly and openly criticized Vladimir Putin, accusing him of the deaths of many civilians. According to Trump, Putin aims to capture the entire territory of Ukraine, which could lead to disaster for Russia itself. "I have always had good relations with Putin, but something has happened to him. He has gone completely insane. He is indifferent to the lives of many people, and this is absolutely unacceptable to me," Trump emphasized.

In addition, in his speech, the US President did not forget to criticize Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former US President Joe Biden. Trump believes the mistakes and poor handling of problems by these three leaders caused the war. "This is not my war, it’s the war of Putin, Zelensky, and Biden.
