Soon, the police officers found the owner of the container. He turned out to be a man who lived in the same house and worked as a consultant and lawyer in several companies. He said that he threw away the box, thinking it contained old clothes, while preparing to renovate his house.

The man insisted that the money he found was found honestly and was withdrawn from a bank in 2020. Currently, Thai police are investigating the veracity of his words and official verification processes have begun.
