Mass demonstrations in support of detained illegal immigrants in the US metropolis of Los Angeles have been continuing for the third day without interruption. Yesterday, President Donald Trump declared that the situation in the city has “deteriorated significantly” and ordered the immediate deployment of military forces to the city.

So far, about 300 National Guard soldiers have been sent to Los Angeles by order of Trump. However, according to local reports, these measures are causing the protesters to become more active in some areas of the city. In particular, the area around the Metropolitan Detention Center in the city center has become the hottest point of the conflict. There are very sharp clashes between security forces and protesters.
Law enforcement agencies are trying to control the unrest with tear gas, rubber and plastic bullets. However, the protesters do not give up their positions and demand reforms and the release of those arrested.
