Khamenei’s sharp warning to the USA: You cannot threaten Iran

Amid the escalating situation in the Middle East, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, addressed his people and the world community. According to Tasnim news agency, Khamenei, warning the USA, said:
"Americans must clearly understand: if any military intervention is carried out against Iran, the consequences of such aggression will be very serious. This will face not only a strong response from the Iranian army, but also the firm resistance of the people. Such an action will bring serious and long-term damage to America."

This statement was made in response to a post by US President Donald Trump on the Truth social network. In it, Trump called on Iran for "unconditional surrender" and declared that America had full control of Iranian airspace. The president’s words have received sharp criticism from various experts and political analysts internationally.

In addition, according to The New York Times, US intelligence is closely monitoring the movements of Iranian military forces. According to secret data, Iran has prepared rockets and other weapons to respond to potential American military intervention by targeting US bases in the region. This is regarded as a dangerous signal not only for bases in Iraq, but also for other military points in the Middle East.

According to ABC News, citing its sources, the US government is expected to make a decisive decision within the next 24–48 hours. This decision includes one of two paths: resolving the conflict diplomatically or directly joining Israeli military operations.

Analysts note that if Washington chooses the military option, the Iran-backed Houthi groups in Yemen may resume attacks on American ships in the Red Sea. In addition, Iran may try to restrict the movement of US ships by mining the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf.
