Explosion in Gaza: 3 Israeli soldiers killed

Tensions in the Gaza Strip continue. As a result of a powerful explosion near the city of Jabalia, three soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces lost their lives. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

The deceased were Staff Sergeant Shoham Menahem (21), Sergeant Shlomo Yakir Shrem (20), and Sergeant Yuli Faktor (19). They were soldiers of the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade.

According to information released by the Israeli Defense Forces, the soldiers were inside a damaged tank during the explosion that occurred near the city of Jabalia.

As a result of the incident, another officer was seriously wounded and taken to the hospital. An investigation into the exact cause of the explosion is currently underway.
