Rustem Umerov, representing Ukraine, stated after the negotiations that a meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia with the participation of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Donald Trump had been proposed. Ukraine continues to demand a complete ceasefire and has expressed its readiness for peace talks.
Vladimir Medinsky's Statement
Vladimir Medinsky, representing Russia, expressed readiness to discuss many issues at the meeting, emphasizing the need to work out the terms of the presidents' meeting and define common goals. Medinsky also stated that Russia had proposed an exchange of prisoners of war, offering to send more Ukrainian prisoners if they have Russian soldiers. Additionally, Russia proposed handing over the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine.

During the talks, prisoner exchange and humanitarian aid issues were discussed. Ukraine proposed to set up working groups to address political, humanitarian, and military matters online. Russia, in turn, expressed interest in strengthening bilateral relations and taking new strategic steps.
