On July 8, a large industrial facility in the Kharkiv region was hit by a new type of airstrike carried out by Russian aviation. According to official sources, Russian forces used the modern UMPB-5 aerial bombs for the first time in this attack.
These bombs stand out for their ability to be dropped from a distance of 100 km, causing significant damage to the production site. The attack destroyed vital parts of the industrial infrastructure, with some equipment and buildings completely wiped out.
Kharkiv officials described the incident as one of the most powerful and dangerous strikes on the city to date. Reports indicate that such attacks have a major impact not only on the economy but also on the country’s strategic infrastructure. Local residents have been urged to strengthen safety measures.
