In Texas, a dog named Blue, who went missing during a hurricane in 2017, was found 8 years later in a public restroom in a park located in a completely different city — 500 km away from home, Pravilamag reported.
This unusual incident happened in the United States. The dog, named Blue, ran away after the yard’s wall collapsed during Hurricane Harvey, which hit the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. At the time, the dog was only two years old.
Since then, there had been no trace of Blue. Almost eight years later, he was found in a restroom at a park in Waco. A young girl who came across him took him to a charity organization called Pet Circle. The staff scanned his chip and contacted his real owners.
When the family was informed, they couldn’t hide their emotions. “When we heard that Blue was found after eight years, our joy was limitless. It was like a miracle for us,” said Pet Circle representatives.
Blue is now reunited with his owners. This event left a deep mark not only in the world of animals but also in human hearts.
