On the night of July 28 to Monday, the Ukrainian capital once again found itself under the shadow of air raids and explosions. Russian troops struck Kyiv again with attack drones, according to local sources. This time, in the Darnytskyi district of the city, eight people were injured in the attack, including a three-year-old child. According to the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, the child sustained moderate injuries, and four more people were hospitalized.
As a result of the attack, windows in multi-storey buildings in the Darnytskyi district were shattered, and photos of the destruction taken by police were published on social networks. Late in the evening, an air raid alert was announced in the city, and, according to reports, explosions were heard.
At the moment, the Russian Ministry of Defense has not made any official comment regarding the latest attack on Kyiv. The attack and its consequences have once again brought the issue of security in Ukraine to the forefront.
