Tensions between Israel and Lebanon are continuing to escalate. According to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted a significant Hezbollah military site located in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley.
This facility is considered one of Hezbollah’s largest weapons manufacturing plants. The minister emphasized that the operation was precise and effective, as the plant posed a serious threat to Israel’s security.
In addition, other infrastructure sites where Hezbollah was attempting to restore its military capabilities were also struck. According to Gallant, these actions were taken to ensure Israel’s security and to maintain regional stability.
It should be noted that clashes between Israel and Hezbollah have increased in recent months. Experts stress the need for diplomatic efforts to prevent these strikes from escalating into a full-scale conflict.
