A young man from Uzbekistan was found stabbed to death in the forest in St. Petersburg

In the Lisiy Nos forest near St. Petersburg, a fellow countryman was found with bodily injuries. It is reported that a bag had been placed over his head, and several stab wounds were discovered on his body.

According to the information, in his testimony to the Primorsky District police, the victim stated that he had been abducted by unknown individuals in the city of Sestroretsk. He explained that at the time he was returning from work and had entered a store when several people attacked him.

During the incident, the unknown individuals put a bag over his head, placed him in one of their vehicles, and took him outside the city. Some time later, he called his relatives and said that the attackers were demanding 55,000 rubles from him. Later, the perpetrators took him into a forest, stabbed him several times, and left him there alone.

It is noted that people nearby managed to call for help. Paramedics arrived at the scene and took urgent measures to stop the blood loss and treat the injuries. He is currently in hospital, and no official information about his condition has been disclosed.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an investigation into the incident has been launched. Investigators are reviewing surveillance camera footage from the locations of the alleged attack, and the circle of potential suspects is being expanded. The victim’s statements are being verified, and a separate line of inquiry is focused on the extortion of money.

Lawyers emphasize that in such cases, the first priority is to ensure the victim’s safety, properly document medical evidence, and initiate a case under the articles of abduction, threats, and assault. Experts note that such crimes are usually premeditated, meaning that roles may have been distributed among the participants.

At present, citizens are advised not to travel alone late at night, not to display cash or valuables, and to avoid using unofficial taxis or getting into strangers’ vehicles. During the investigation, new information may emerge, so citizens are urged to rely on official sources for updates.
