Uzbekistanis in difficult situations in Malaysia will be brought back to their homeland

Two Uzbek citizens who found themselves in a difficult situation in Malaysia will be brought back to our homeland in the coming days.
It was reported that with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, these two Uzbek citizens, who are temporarily detained in the deportation center and are in a difficult situation, will be brought back as part of the "Return to the Homeland" campaign.
This assistance, organized on the basis of law and humanitarianism, is being carried out within the framework of the campaign, which will last from July 30 to August 30. Employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Malaysia and the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Citizens. At these meetings, issues of the prompt and convenient return of citizens to their homeland were discussed.
As a result of these meetings, an agreement was reached to bring M.Yu., born in the Fergana region of the deportation center, to Uzbekistan in the coming days. Due to the absence of his passport, the embassy issued a return certificate and, with the help of relatives, purchased an air ticket on the Kuala Lumpur - Tashkent route.
Also, within the framework of the "Return to the Homeland" campaign, additional assistance was provided to J.M., born in the Samarkand region, who was left in a difficult situation in the city of Kuala Lumpur. The diplomatic mission provided practical assistance to J.M. in obtaining a special permit to leave the country from the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Malaysia.
As a result, these two citizens in Kuala Lumpur will soon return to Uzbekistan and reunite with their families. This event is a vivid example not only of humanism, but also of strong diplomatic ties with the Motherland and its citizens.
