Faculty of Artificial Intelligence opened at Moscow State University

A new faculty specializing in artificial intelligence has been established at Lomonosov Moscow State University. This was announced to TASS by the university’s rector, Viktor Sadovnichiy.

According to the official statement, the new faculty will combine various fields into a single system, which will ensure comprehensive training of specialists in this area. In addition, it will contribute to a wider implementation of AI technologies in different areas of scientific research.

Currently, the university hosts the Artificial Intelligence Research Center, the Artificial Intelligence Institute, and the “Intellect” Foundation.

Admissions to the new faculty are expected to begin in 2026.
