A school bus driver from the state of Connecticut unexpectedly gained great luck. He won 150 thousand dollars in the Powerball lottery. And all this happened thanks to his cat, reports People.
Russell Raff bought a lottery ticket as a joke, and then lost it at home. "My ticket rolled behind the headboard of the bed, and we did not pay attention to it. We did not even try to check the numbers," he says.
The situation changed unexpectedly: Raff's cat got stuck behind the bed. The man, together with his sons, had to move the furniture and thus found the long-lost ticket.
Russell checked the ticket carefully several times and saw that four out of five numbers matched. Then he realized that he had won. Thanks to the Power Play option, his prize increased to 150 thousand dollars.
