It was reported that for four days, 20 Iranian vessels carrying grain, timber, and other various cargo to Iran have not been allowed to leave ports in Russian ports without any explanation.
According to sources of the Telegram channel "Ozod Iran," Russian officials restricted the situation to "incomplete cargo documents" and prohibited ships from leaving the port. This is causing confusion and unrest between Iranian exporters and ship owners.
Currently, ships prepared for carrying various cargo in ports cannot move from the port area, and this situation is also affecting trade relations between Tehran and Moscow. Iranian ship owners and importers continue to negotiate with port staff and finalize legal documents.
The incident once again demonstrates how important official documents and lists are in international trade and transport processes. It is clear that delays in the cargo transportation process will occur until the detention of Iranian ships in ports is eliminated.
