A very tragic incident occurred in the Voronezh region of Russia. The 13-year-old boy died due to a cardiac arrest during sambo training. The Ministry of Health of the Voronezh region announced this in a telegram message.
According to the report, on September 17th, during a sambo training session at the Severnaya Arena sports complex in the Ostrogozhsk district, the teenager's condition deteriorated sharply. Responsible instructors and participants immediately called an ambulance. According to the report, the young man has been regularly involved in this sports club for more than two years and has also received an official medical permit. It was also noted that he did not perform heavy physical exercises when he began to feel unwell.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:40 PM. At that time, a highly qualified resuscitator with 30 years of experience, the head of the department, personally initiated the resuscitation operation. Standard medical methods such as artificial respiration, indirect cardiac massage, and defibrillation were used.
Despite all possible measures taken, which lasted almost an hour, by 6:10 p.m., the struggle for life had not yielded results. This news shook hearts and left an indelible anguish for his parents and loved ones.
In an official statement by the Ministry of Health of the Voronezh region, the management of the medical institution expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. At the same time, it was reported that an investigation into the incident has been launched in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. The institution expressed its readiness to provide all necessary documents and information.
