Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized during a phone call with Qatari leaders during his visit to the US for the September 9th airstrike in Doha.
As stated, the conversation took place during a meeting at the White House. Netanyahu promised that such strikes would not be repeated. The Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, strongly emphasized the inadmissibility of violating the country's sovereignty and security.
The statement notes that US President Donald Trump highly appreciated Qatar's role in regional and international mediation. Qatar also announced its readiness to join Trump's efforts to end the war in Gaza.
Six people were killed in the attack: the son of Khalil al-Hay, a member of the Hamas political bureau, four members, and one police officer. Netanyahu later stated that measures were taken to prevent such incidents.
