In Kyrgyzstan, the friendship and cooperation between cities was marked by a symbolic yet remarkable event. The governor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, presented a new electric car to the delegation of the Karakol city administration, which arrived in the southern capital for an exchange of experience, reported 24.kg.
This unusual gift not only caused surprise but also became a symbol of the sincere relationship between the two cities. The head of the delegation, governor of Karakol Kanibek Adiev, personally received the keys to the modern 2025 electric car from Jenishbek Toktorbaev.
The guests from Karakol said they had not expected such a present. They sincerely thanked the governor and invited their colleagues from Osh to visit their city. They described this initiative as “not just an exchange of professional experience, but a true sign of human closeness.”
According to the Osh city administration, the Karakol delegation will spend several days studying various sectors of the city as part of the exchange program. They will observe the work of municipal enterprises, visit social and cultural sites, and familiarize themselves with practical examples of urban infrastructure renewal.
Experts consider this visit an important step toward strengthening intercity cooperation in Kyrgyzstan and introducing effective models of local governance. At the same time, by gifting an electric vehicle, the idea of energy efficiency and “green transport” is being promoted.
