An important step has been taken in the field of labor migration in the United Arab Emirates - employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held talks with the management of "Dubai Taxi Company PJSC" in Dubai. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and providing Uzbek drivers with legal and decent working conditions in the UAE, Dunyo.unfo reports.
The head of "Dubai Taxi Company PJSC" Sayid Amin Abdulrahman took part in the negotiations and expressed great interest in attracting qualified drivers from Uzbekistan. According to him, the company is attracting experienced specialists from various countries in order to expand its activities and improve the quality of services. In particular, positive feedback about Uzbek drivers has also given impetus to the development of cooperation in this area.

"We are ready to hire experienced and responsible drivers from Uzbekistan. At the initial stage, there is an opportunity to employ 200 Uzbek citizens as taxi drivers. If they prove themselves well, we plan to involve around 500 more drivers in the next stage," said Abdulrahman.
The meeting also discussed practical measures for selecting drivers from Uzbekistan, processing documents, and legally establishing their employment. The company's management emphasized that all legal requirements and labor protection standards will be strictly observed in the process of recruiting the workforce.
The representative of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, in turn, reported that special training programs, language training, and transport ethics courses are being organized in the country for taxi drivers. This, in turn, will allow our compatriots to be competitive in the international labor market.
Following the negotiations, the leadership of the Uzbek Agency for Labor and "Dubai Taxi Company PJSC" agreed to discuss the next stages of cooperation, start practical work on the selection of drivers through a competitive selection process and their departure to the UAE.
The parties noted that this initiative will be an important step not only in creating jobs, but also in strengthening labor and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Thus, new job opportunities are expected to open for Uzbek drivers in the UAE - this will not only provide our compatriots with a stable source of income, but also create an opportunity to demonstrate the national labor potential in the international arena.
