
A road accident involving a passenger bus and a truck occurred in the southern Indian state of Telangana. As a result, at least 24 people died, and another 18 were injured.
According to the Indian Times, there were approximately 70 passengers on the bus heading towards Hyderabad. The truck lost control while transporting gravel and crashed into the bus. As a result of the impact, part of the cargo spilled into the vehicle and trapped some passengers.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene, and excavators were used to evacuate passengers.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was excessive speed and loss of control by the truck driver.
