US law enforcement agencies prevented a planned terrorist attack in Michigan during Halloween celebrations.
According to NBC News, two individuals in this case - Muhammad Ali and Majid Mahmud - are accused of preparing to commit a terrorist crime.
They are suspected of attempting to receive and distribute weapons and ammunition that could be used for terrorist purposes.
Earlier, FBI Director Cash Patel announced the arrest of five individuals linked to a planned Halloween attack. However, only two of them - Ali and Mahmud - were officially charged.
This situation indicates the need to further strengthen security measures in the USA.
