
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter of gratitude to the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to the Akorda press service, in his letter, Tokayev expressed deep gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to the Kazakh delegation during his state visit on November 14-16.
The President noted the historical significance of that visit and emphasized that it further strengthened the strategic partnership and friendly alliance between the two countries.
Tokayev also highlighted the high-level organization of the VII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia held in Tashkent. In his opinion, the discussions held in all areas of regional cooperation, the important decisions and documents adopted, as well as the accession of Azerbaijan as a full participant, have further enhanced the strategic significance of the forum.
