The Axios publication released a draft plan to end the war in Ukraine, developed by the Donald Trump administration. The publication emphasizes that the authenticity of the document was confirmed by Ukrainian and US officials. At the same time, this project was previously announced by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexey Goncharenko. The plan consists of 28 points and includes a number of proposals that will seriously affect the future of Ukraine and the regional security system.
Washington's pressure. According to the Financial Times, the Trump administration is demanding that Kyiv approve the peace treaty within a few days. Sources say that US officials want Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign the agreement before Thanksgiving Day. However, Ukrainian officials have stated that adhering to this deadline is difficult.
On November 20, Zelenskyy received a delegation led by US Secretary of Defense Daniel Driscoll. During the negotiations, the Americans formally presented the peace plan. In his evening address, Zelenskyy stated the need for "decent peace" for Ukraine and emphasized that the main principles have been defined. Ukraine's Deputy Representative to the UN, Kristina Gayovishin, emphasized that Kyiv has its own "red lines," which are "clear and inviolable."

Ukraine's protest
According to The Wall Street Journal, Kyiv did not accept a request to investigate one of the most important points of the peace plan - international aid during the war. The US stated that this audit could reveal instances of corruption, while Ukraine responded by stating the need for a "complete amnesty for wartime actions."
In conclusion, discussions surrounding Trump's plan are intensifying, and a serious conflict between the interests of both sides is emerging. There is a desire for peace, but each clause has enormous political and territorial consequences for Ukraine. The negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming days.
